Currently CCNP, working towards CCDP...
Hello, Currently I have my CCNP ONT, ISCW, BCMSN & BSCI. I can see to get the CCDP I now need: ArchRouteSwitch A few months ago I saw you needed: ArchBCMSNBSCI If I JUST do the Arch exam, will I then become CCDP or will i need to complete the new Route and Switch exams as well? Thanks, Jimmy
Re:Currently CCNP, working towards CCDP...
hi jimmy, all you need is a valid CCNA and CCDA before writing your CCDP. http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/l ... _home.html CCDP Prerequisites[/quote] Valid CCNAand CCDAor any CCIE Certification can act as a pre-requisite.
Re:Currently CCNP, working towards CCDP...
Thanks for your reply. I understand I need the CCDA/CCNA before aiming for the CCDP but what Im trying to state is: Can I get away with just doing the ARCH exam as I have the old Routing (BSCI) and Switching (BCMSN) exams already passed. OR, do I now need to do the new ROUTE and SWITCH exams as well? Cheers, Jimmy
Re:Currently CCNP, working towards CCDP...
Jimmy, As long as you are within 3 years of passing BSCI and BCMSN, they will count towards CCDP and you will only need to pass ARCH. See the following link. http://ciscocert.force.com/english/arti ... ord%3Dccdp Hope this helps. Brandon
