Hi All,

 

can someone tell me is the 887s wifi antenna removeable or not? we want to add expand cable to extend wifi signal.

Yes.

 

we want to add expand cable to extend wifi signal.

Won work.  For the following reasons:

 

1.  The antennas are 3-in-1: a/b/g and n in one antenna so you CANT find a cable that will support this; and

2.  The longer the cable, the lower the signal strength.

 

If you are trying to "extend" the signal coverage, it is best to get another AP.

What about using the AIR-ANT2460NP-R antenna ? its 2.4Ghz and is a patch antenna that will give 6db gain in one direction. It has three leads for each of the antenna connectors.
