CCNA Expired - Options for CCVP?

Postby Guest » Wed Oct 13, 2010 12:03 am

Hi All,

My CCNA has got expired one year ago. Right now I am pursuing CCVP track and completed CIPT1 recently.

My doubt is - Is it valid to write CCNA *AFTER* passing CVOICE? Will it be considered as CCNA Voice and considered as prerequisite for CCVP?

My exact plan is as follows:

1. CIPT1 completed

2. CVOICE

3. CIPT2

4. TUC

5. CCNA

6. QoS

(Going to take exams in the above order)

Is this a valid way/path for CCVP? Will I be give CCNAVoice and CCVP certificates if I do like this?

Yes, as long as the exams are all completed within a 3 year period, you will receive CCNA Voice and CCVP. Each individual exam expires after 3 years.

Hope this helps.

Hi Brandon,

Pl let me know if there is some rule like we have to complete the 5 ccvp papers in a year to get ccvp certification.

Thanks,

S.Harish.

Hello,

There are no formal rules or order to complete the CCVP exams, you can do those in any order as long as make the 5 exams within 3 years and you have a valid CCNA voice because its a prerequisite for this certification.

For example this is the path that I am taking:

1.Cvoice

2.CIPT I

3.CIPT II

4.QoS

5.TUC --Will do it next month
