Need help with IP Routing task

Postby Guest » Sat Sep 26, 2009 12:30 pm

Please check the link i made a screenshot from some exerice, and i cant understand it.

http://www.imageuploading.net/images/8911/cisco

i understand that we need to assume that this is classful routing, but i cant understand why traffic is dropped  to 172.25.24.111 ? because there is no directly connected routes with Serial1 using that network ?

Thanks for information

You mis-read the question....it asked which is NOT true. So that means when the answer says 172.25.24.111 will be dropped...that is NOT true because it has an entry in the routing table and 172.25.24.111 will NOT be dropped it will be forwarded. You have to watch this on the exams as they will try and trip you up, so read the question carefully.

Remember be carefull during your exams. Cisco will word the questions to make sure you are reading them. Almost all exams I have taken have tried to trip you up with wording.

Good Luck
